Connect iMessage to OpenClaw
OpenClaw can connect to iMessage through a bridge integration. Once set up, you can chat with your AI agent from your iPhone, iPad, or Mac β just like texting a friend.
> Before you start
Make sure you have:
- ✓ A running OpenClaw agent. Your agent must be deployed and in a "Running" state on Clawly (or self-hosted).
- ✓ An Apple ID. iMessage requires an active Apple account.
- ✓ Access to the OpenClaw GUI. You'll configure the iMessage bridge through your agent's settings.
> Step-by-step guide
1. Open the OpenClaw GUI
From your Clawly dashboard, click OpenClaw GUI to open your agent's management interface.
2. Enable the iMessage channel
Go to Settings → Channels and enable iMessage. OpenClaw uses a bridge to connect to Apple's messaging service.
3. Authenticate with your Apple ID
Follow the on-screen prompts to sign in with your Apple ID. You may need to approve two-factor authentication on one of your Apple devices.
4. Start chatting
Once connected, messages sent to the linked iMessage account will be handled by your OpenClaw agent. You can text it from any Apple device.
Note: iMessage support is experimental
iMessage integration relies on third-party bridges and may require additional setup depending on your Apple account configuration. Check the OpenClaw documentation for the latest compatibility notes.
