Connect Signal to OpenClaw
Signal is known for its strong encryption and privacy. Connect your OpenClaw agent to Signal and have private, end-to-end encrypted conversations with your AI assistant.
> Before you start
Make sure you have:
- ✓ A running OpenClaw agent. Your agent must be deployed and in a "Running" state on Clawly (or self-hosted).
- ✓ A Signal account. You'll need Signal installed on your phone with a registered phone number.
- ✓ Access to the OpenClaw GUI. You'll configure the Signal bridge through your agent's settings.
> Step-by-step guide
1. Open the OpenClaw GUI
From your Clawly dashboard, click OpenClaw GUI to open your agent's management interface.
2. Enable the Signal channel
Go to Settings → Channels and enable Signal. A QR code or link code will be displayed.
3. Link your Signal account
Open Signal on your phone, go to Settings → Linked Devices, and scan the QR code shown in the OpenClaw GUI. This links your agent as a Signal device.
