Grok 4 & Grok 4.1 Fast Now Available on Clawly

We've added two new AI models from xAI — Grok 4 and Grok 4.1 Fast — available on both BYOK and Managed plans starting today.

The models

Grok 4 is xAI's flagship reasoning model. It offers strong analytical capabilities, a 256K token context window, and is priced at $3 per million input tokens and $15 per million output tokens — competitive with other frontier models. Grok 4 is a reasoning-first model: it thinks through problems step by step before responding, which makes it particularly strong for complex questions, code generation, and multi-step tasks.

Grok 4.1 Fast is the speed and cost champion. With a massive 2 million token context window and pricing at just $0.20 per million input tokens and $0.50 per million output tokens, it's one of the most affordable models available on Clawly. It's ideal for high-volume chatbots where you want fast responses without burning through your API budget.

How to use them

BYOK plan

1. Get an API key from console.x.ai
2. Deploy a new agent on Clawly and select Grok 4 or Grok 4.1 Fast as your model
3. Paste your xAI API key (starts with xai-) during setup

Managed plan

Just select Grok 4 or Grok 4.1 Fast when deploying your agent — we handle the API keys for you through OpenRouter. Usage is billed from your included $25 monthly credits, same as any other model.

Why we added Grok

xAI has been shipping fast. Grok 4 competes directly with Claude Opus and GPT-4 on reasoning benchmarks, while Grok 4.1 Fast offers a price-to-performance ratio that's hard to beat. Adding both models gives Clawly users more flexibility — pick the frontier reasoning model when you need peak capability, or the fast model when you need speed and volume.
